When former Police Officer, Michael Mtanios, decided to marry his true love and move to Australia to start their family, they had no idea what was in store for them.

Michael joined the police force at 16 years of age in Lebanon - no small feat considering he was 2 years under age!!  It was sign of things to come.

He married his sweetheart one week after arriving in Australia at the tender age of 21 and started integrating into a society they had no prior knowledge of.  Not only were they new to the neighbourhood, but they were not able to speak English (only French and Arabic).

After starting out in a knitting factory, Michael and Georgette starting operating a milk bar from 1985 - 1996, but their love for home never diminished so Michael finally decided to open Al Nada and share his love for his local foods with everyone he could.

Back home in Lebanon, these pizza shops are as common as McDonalds, but here in Australia, you need to travel to 84 Hudsons Road in Spotswood Victoria to taste the real deal!!!
